Nice read. I wonder if E.com was doing it intentionally to drive up traffic or if they were doing it to provide useful information to its users.
useful info is provided to users who are asking for it, not shoving it down ppl's throats. And i am sure that they were doing it intentionally, otherwise they wouldve responded to nytimes phone calls to clarify their position.
I am pretty sure as well, but am one who doesnt like to assume. E.com is a great site; theyve helped me a lot.
My guess is they were partly doing it to increase their unique vistor count, which of course means greater ad revenue.
