    I would say, try getting VPS from reliable us providers like ipage. I had IPage shared hosting and not even a single downtime. Their price is high but I am sure its worth it.

    Or try hosthatch.com, I have been using them for over 3 months. they have ssd servers and there was no downtime on their US server. For netherlands they had certain downtime because of hardware failure but no data was lost and they got back up in less time.

    Check lowendbox.com, you can get great deals, they only post reliable sites and not all of them and they are all cheap

    You could get a good vps server for about 50 dollars and then add c panel for 15 dollars and be up and running with no issues. Hope this helps

    Wordpress has a lot of plugins and features that require a lot of IO. Wordpress users should always find hosters that are using SSD's so that your website can be snappy and not turn the visitors away.

    It depends on your budget, but i have set up a digitalocean VPS for one of my clients for his wordpress sites, he use 35gb and lots of videos are hosted. Server is very stable and very fast. Yea, it is important to use good VPS, but for WordPress it is more important to use proper plugins and optimize things. There are several tricks that you need to do to have it clean and fast.     All this servers are not well known and i would not suggest anyone with serious website to use this servers. My friend recently lost all his websites because he was hosting and some resseler who just scammed him and person that scamed him is from Europe, so i wonder what will happen in Panama..,
