Is it harmful or not to redirect a non exist URL to the live URL???

Suppose we don't touch the on page of live page and try to target a keyword for that page but through a fake page. Suppose when someone click on the page targeted with the automatically redirected to the live. is this affects site negatively???

 

Creating door way page will affect your website SERP and also you may get penalize from Google. Try to avoid that. Do white hat seo techniques it will slowly increase your serp and traffic. but we no need to worry about for Google SERP algorithm updates?

 

Just use 301 redirects. If you have backlinks to web pages that no longer exist, use a 301 redirect to permanently redirect traffic that may have clicked on the link to a similar web page on your site. It's a pretty standard practice and will ensure that you don't lose visibility.

 

It's never a bad idea to redirect non existing urls to live urls. Just make sure you don't try to spam non existing urls to get more traffic to live urls.
