    Many free sites are available where you can check backlinks. try backlinkwatch and smallseotools, both are free and many other tools also available on the smallseotools

    ahrefs free version only showing limited amount of data but it is one of the good site who provides the detail information about all backlinks including sitewide link, non sitewide, dofollow, nofollow and more. its also providing anchor text percentage, link graph and SEO Report etc.

    Ahrefs has a good tool for that propose, you can check it and check other tools suggested on this thread and then you can go with the one which you like more.

    openlinkprofiler.org is good but Ahrefs gives alot more backlinks, if you try the same domain on both you will see a difference, look out for Moz offers they normally do like 6months free from time to time

    I found ahrefs and majesticseo quite interesting but I notice that it lets you use only one url per day. Who's gonna make them rich as we get a lot of stuff almost free everywhere.

    After doing some research I found this.
    chromefans.org (you need to install the toolbar and you get all the stuff at once).
