    I have been experiencing trouble with a payment I made to a person for a service. I supposed to receive the return but haven't get it on the due date.
    have been sending him numerous messages regarding this. He didn't respond.
    I have full proof of his invoice and my payment.
    May I open a dispute on paypal now?
    Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

    You should. Paypal is usually pretty good about dispute resolution.

    The guy got money from me and other by invoice to his hosting company. It was actually an investment that to be returned with interest. He didn't return. Is it possible to get refund in this case? What should we provide?

    The Paypal will decide you should get your money back or not, If you had mail or other conversation with him then don't try to give any false reason for chargeback otherwise you will surely lose dispute.

    The guy cheated me and many others in the forum at the same time. All of us have opened disputes. So, paypal doesn't have any way to deem it as a false chargeback.

    If possible file chargeback with your credit card / bank because paypal not going to help you if it is digital goods or service.

    Not always the case. If you have a valid reason for a dispute, no matter what it is, you will more than likely win the dispute and get your money back. Just provide information that will help PayPal!

    Disputing a PayPal transaction is the first step in the claims process if you have a problem with a purchase you paid for with the service. PayPal offers buyer's protection on purchases if you do not receive the item, or the item you receive is not the same as the seller described it.

    paypal protecting buyer compare to seller. the seller have to show the proof, not the buyer
