    bro you can use the same image..just decrease its size..

    and since its a bg [background] image so you dnt have to focus much on that..
    have a look at it..
    image size : 1920x535
    and
    file size : 89.7kb

    Sure, but a different image might be even smaller. An image of the same size only using 2 colors could be <1KB. I need it as small as possible, so I'm interested if someone can come up with a design that looks just as good (or maybe even better), which can be compressed down to just a few KB.

    Hey there. Sorry but i cannot use that image. The reduction in size is just lossy compression (lower quality). It's not what I'm looking for.

    Also, the dimensions of the image aren't correct. I'm looking for: 1920x535 size

    bro you wont get much images with designs..<1kb or so..
    and especially when you want if for web use..

    check this image..
    i have compressed it so much..

    Here my try

    Image size is 52,1 kb. By the way its 1920 x 750 at the moment so a few kb might be shaved off if 1920 x 535 really fist your site. I could not get the sample work with that size.

    Now we're talking. What format is the image in? Png? Jpg?

    Could you take the 52.1 kb image and upload it to imgur.com, and download it again. Imgur strips a good amount of bytes off the images somehow. How large is it after?
