I created a niche site 2 months with keyword domain name. and created 20 web 2.0 profile links. I did not do anything there after. After 3 months the site is ranking in the 4th page for that keyword and ranking good in short tail keywords as well. There are totally 20 pages in the website with well written content. Now, i want to do link building. what is the best strategy. I am wondering whether to submit in directories, social bookmarkings and article directories for the next 50 backlnks. any good idea is appreciated.
Hello, Do social bookmarking, Business listing and post one unique article in only one site. It will help you a lot.
Social bookmarkings, video sharing are the best! Stop submit in directories, google don't like anymore that
Social bookmarking, Social share, Article Submission, Wiki Submission those are best way to get quality back link.
Private blog posts works best these days when in comes to smaller niche sites. Just make sure you use unique content and do not overuse your keywords. Use lot of generic anchors, LSI and short questions. Build juice to your profiles: Cheapest way to do it is to use GSA search engine ranker service from Fiverr. As a link building aspect, article directories are quite a waste of time. Hope it helped
Not sure I follow, so you've built a couple sites 2 months ago and after 3 months you see them ranking? In any event, I'd start by deleting the "20 web 2.0 profile links" because that's definitely not what's helping. Most likely, the "20 pages in the website with well written content" are the ones you have to thank. Once you get rid of those crappy links (I presume you're not going to be writing excellent content for 20 blogs constantly) you should forget about linkbuilding and do more of that well written content. If you want links simply spread the word;make the content linkable and you will get the links or simply go submit some awesome infographics; or as @Ferzy said, go guest post where people are interested in your material. If you wanna go greyhatish and build some additional sites then do that but be wary because you might not be all that good at selling it to Google and you can use that energy to write more for your sites. Not much I can say without seeing your sites, but focus on your visitors and build a solid brand; links will follow.
Social Sharing and Bookmarking can help the site. Also do some citations, some business listings accept entries even if it is not a legit business entity. And yeah a private blog post will also help.
All these suggestions help to drive in traffic, not improve SEO. BTW, guest blogging was the latest method that NO LONGER increases rank according to Matt Cutts. People need to read more about Google's algorithm changes and stop using the same old, now wasted methods which either do nothing or hurt sites.
