Google XML Sitemap is not showing in Google search results

    hi when i search my site (technotrait dot com ) with Google famous search tool i.e. site:www.example.com/sitemap.xml or even with site:example.com/sitemap.xml
    in that case no result is showing....kindly solve the problem.

    There is no problem. Google doesn't index XML site maps to be included in the search results. They index the URLs that are contained within the XML document for the search results.

    ok, but i have seen other sitemap shown in the Google search results, even Google itself......?

    Maybe it is not sitemap.xml, may be it was sitemap.html
