Interesting concept you have there at Mail 4 Group. I'd be willing to give it a try if I were a student at your school.

Why not add a video explaining how to use the site? If "A picture is worth a 1,000 words," then a video is worth 100,000.

Having access to a couple of existing groups would be a plus too. For a quicker growth you will have to have some groups available to view.

Very useful for groups of friends or students -
it is much more than just another shared mailbox.

It's a free platform which supports communication and collaboration of school and students groups, friends, clubs etc. There you can communicate as a group, share study notes, create shared events and browse study materials left by older students. You've got chatbox, shared calendar etc.
We would be really glad if You could try it out / review it.

Ok, I will give it a try.

First things first. The design looks quite good. Congratulations. Be careful with the parallax scrolling, though, as it is known not being too SEO-friendly.

After reading the home page I am not very sure whether this site is just for my own groups or whether I can share with similar students from other schools. Also, I don't have clear if this site can be used for college or university level studies or also for elementary or high school studies too. The photographs are focused towards adult students only, so I am assuming it is for college or university students. If this is not your goal, maybe you can think about changing a picture to make it clearer for first-time visitors.

The features are OK, but this phrase "Many folks already use Mail4Group!" is not very convincing. Try to change that to a specific number instead.

To sum it up, I think your site needs to be a little more specific on its purpose and clear about the audience it tries to help. With that, I think you may get more people signing up.

Looks great and since I'm a student I can see the idea is catchy!

The logo seems somehow a bit out of places, as in the font. Everything else looks amazing .

I'll actually bookmark it and try it with my friends later.

All I can say is that Shawn really needs to work on his " minimum post quality threshold" tool. Because you were at 620 to filter you out.
Never heard of University of technology and moreover never saw a "successful project" looking for help in the form of reviews. I can definitely say that you are a perfect candidate to get 'vanished/banned' soon.

When one goes to the actual site it actually looks quite nice.

 

It's expensive but I see people are suggesting a video, and white board animation videos are the most captivating I've seen. Just an (expensive) thought. I like the concept of your product. I think it could help people. My only question is, and I could have overlooked some essential details, what about the school's own email system for professors and students. I think all schools give out their own email account to each professor and student. Like first name initial, last name @ name of school.edu. And the school sends out sometimes important mail through that system. Would this be a replacement for it all together? If so, you have to advertise directly to the schools.

4 languages is awesome! I'm thinking you could get more people to help you translate. Students are diverse, and could potentially help you translate?
