    My money's on fake. Most of the fake PR tools rely on Google's info:example.com which used to return a different website when the PR was fake. It hasn't worked reliably for a while now.

    One way to check these days is to use Google's link:example.com search. It never shows anything like the number of links a site has but for a PR3 and above I'd expect to see a few links at least and this "PR4" domain doesn't have any.

    Also I'd expect a PR4 site to have some internal PR, somewhere; on the older sub-pages as well.

    This is a valid pr4. But a dropped one. So it has no inner high pr pages.
