I use the cognitive SEO tool. It is a paid tool but completely worth the price. You get complete website SEO information through this tool and you can use this information for planning SEO strategies.

Things changed a bit for me when Raven Stopped using google and SemRush data and I haven't exactly found a solution I'm happy with so Just wanted to use what people use alongside SEO, or what they use instead of certain parts of SEO.

The ones that everyone listed (Google Keyword Planner, Majestic SEO, etc. ) are all excellent tools.

I use one called SEO Spyglass that produces a nice report of what my competitors -or in which case my clients' competitors - which is really helpful.

The keyword planning tool is important to review your keywords. It is important to use Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools as well. Along with that you can invest in any paid SEO tool for getting your website performance reports.
