Many business owners preferred me to use mobile loyalty program for online business sales improvement. Do you think it will work?

I personally feel that this is a good system. Customers are apparently attracted to businesses that provide offers and discounts. With the right mobile loyalty app you can notify targeted customers about your loyalty program. This will result in more purchases and help you develop your business.

It could work. It all depends on how you market it to people, and how you word it. Also be sure to make the wording very clear so that the leads/prospects "instantly understand" it.

What loyalty apps are you considering? Many years ago I was on the rmanagement team of a DM agency that managed the largest hotel chain in the world's loyalty program. One of the interesting things about loyalty programs is how few members actually redeem points or awards. Back when I was involved, it was about 15% or so. It does promote loyalty and does not cost that much to operate, so it is attractive to high volume businesses that wish to encourage repeat business.

It depends hugely on your product. Is it the kind of thing that gets repeat purchases?

We rent out portable cabins - while we do get repeat business it's a very small part of our market. Referrals are important but still a small %.

Hotel stays, however, have a huge reliance on repeat business and for a chain it's really important to build loyalty and a loyalty program makes sense.

@JamesGordon7 What is your core business?

The philosophy behind a customer loyalty program is simple:
Repeat customers are rewarded and businesses increase sales. Though it’s a basic but powerful strategy.

Industry experts believe the future of loyalty programs lies in mobile technology.
But here is a point to worry, Not everyone has a smartphone or the right app loaded to take advantage of your program.

@sarahk rightly mention that "It depends hugely on your product."

Whether it works or not not only depends on the products you sell, but also on what kind of reward you offer.

The quality of the product you sell is very important here. Of course customers always choose to do business with sites that give many discounts and offers.
