    I personally use Google free SEO tools, for keyword research i use Google AdWords, for analysing the website visit Google Analytic and to find out any crawling error and backlinks Google Webmaster.

    I think Google Webmaster Tools is best SEO tool. It can give information such as keyword ranking, traffic trends based content, and Google authorship statistics. If we are using Google Analytics seo tool we need Google webmaster tools also.

    There are many tools by google. but it is depend on your requirement for what purpose you need tool, if you check backlinks then Ahrefs is good tool....

    I think for seo purpose there is no any need for paid tool. We can find competitor back links and create strong database for good back links. opensiteexplorer and ahref is the good option for seo tool.

    Depends on what you want to do.

    For ranking i prefer to do most of it manually maybe that's because what i do is strictly high PR.

    I only use tools if i want to analyze backlinks, check my keywords and stuffs like that.

    If that's the case MajesticSEO, SEOSpyglass or Powersuit in general, Google Keyword Planner and the likes, Scrapebox but no to commenting with it.
