Yes I will publish it on DP at some point, but how do I get it popular to a mass audience. Suggesting Facebook (and I guess Twitter) is great, but who to contact and how to get it done?

I rarely recommend Facebook for anything, but it might work for a contest. You should first put up a business page on Facebook that reflects what you are offering. Then start an advertising campaign on Facebook (this will cost money, of course.) It is easy to do online and Facebook will walk you through the process. Just click on their Advertising link.

Is there any way I could do this for free? I appreciate the advice about FB and purchasing ad space, but since I'm giving away (really nice) products not sure why I should pay for this too?

Where else can I submit the competition?

You could do a PR campaign in which you write up a press release announcing what great prizes you are giving away and then send it to a wide variety of news organizations and blogs. If you follow up with these new organizations and sell them on the value of their story to their readers, you might get a lot of free publicity. But you must write a quality press release and give a strong sales effort with the press.

Thanks, anything else as a PR campaign will take time and it's a limited time competition.

I'll be offering the chance to win prizes through the best drawings made on the flash app on the site. I already contacted someone at DeviantArt, any other ideas? Thanks everyone
