Hello friends! I wan to know about responsive web design?? how it can be helpful in making websites?

 

Having a responsive web design isn't really helpful in making websites, but more so to make them smoother/quicker for the end-user, the visitor of the site. I'm not exactly sure what the question is, but are you wondering what are the best methods to keep/make a web design more responsive? If so, it would depend a lot on how your site is designed, how heavy the framework is (if any, such as a CMS like WordPress or Joomla!), how many plugins/scripts you have, how many images and whether they are located on different subdomain/domain or CDN, also your hosting account and how responsive the server your site sits on is. That's just some of the factors, I'm sure I've not listed many. Generally, keep it minimal and not bloated with too much stuff, optimize to reduce server requests/hits, use caching when possible.

 

Oh, the use. Well responsive design and related methods are used to allow web pages to respond to the device where they are being displayed to reduce the need for a different version of the page for each device that might be used to access it. Thus a page originally designed for a large screen desktop format, will also display well on a tablet or smartphone.

Only if you want to create bloat and start down the road to building bloated junk that is slow, unreliable and difficult to maintain.

If you are going to do any kind of web development; then you start by learning the basics of HTML, CSS, javascript and a server side scripting language like PHP. Then once you have the basic tools you don't have to rely on third party frameworks designed to enslave you and turn you into a drone pumping out trash within the limits imposed by the junk-masters who convinces you that they are giving you something that is "easy to use".

 

The Simple and fast methode to create responsive web is using css framework like bootstrap, foundation, and other framework

You don't need to adjust width with scale device again, because every framework usually already adjust it automatic

 

What bootscrap are you talking about!!!?
In this situation Wordpress with any responsive theme is more than enough!!!

 

Sorry to interrupt you, but it's a Bootstrap. Bootstrap is the best responsive design type.
Also bootstrap design is able to take a place of mobile application.
But work with bootstrap design is some what hard as compare to other responsive designs.
And as per @Karuna17 said, nowadays you can easily get free bootstrap themes of many CMS like Joomla, WP, Magento, Prestashop etc..

 

Loading in 150k of poor code plus another 40k or so for the jquery library gives one the ability to produce bloated mediocre trash at best, and using themes based on bootstrap just adds to the bloat. The code follows neither standards nor any logical best practices and is guaranteed to produce conflicts and incompatibilities at some point. Oh and the 6% or so of users who disable javascript will not be able to use a bootstrap site unless the developer installs fallbacks because like a lot of the framework crap, bootstrap assumes everyone has javascript enabled.

About the only practical use for it is for 12-year old kids who want to avoid learning how to code properly, but think they will impress their friends with a site that looks like thousands of others; works right sometimes and has all kinds of "cool" junk that takes forever to load and sucks the juice out of phone batteries with excessive scripting.

 

Just to add something new, all now requiere to have responsive design on their website.
