Is this still working after the Post Panda update? Some of my friends told me that Link Pyramid has no value this time..can't push rankings either.

 

Yes. I've tried this method and still get the benefit.
1st tier - best quality backlinks (EDU/GOV, wiki sites, PR sites, High PR Forums, major social bookmark, etc)
2nd tier - high to standard quality backlinks (comment, forums, social bookmark, etc)
3rd tier - standard quality backlinks

 

this is quite difficult compare to link wheel. I still prefer the latter..Plus,it sounds like a spamming for me.

 

I think manually building back links is the most natural way to get rankings in google link pyramids are just to spammy.

 

Contextual tiered links = rank = $$$ ===>>> Rinse repeat.

 

The correct term is Tiered Link Building. In which you build 3 tiers of links to your money site. 1st tier links go directly to your site. 2nd tier links go to your 1st tier links and your 3rd tier links go to your 2nd tier links. With this your able to rank you website straight to the top spot in Google.

1st Tier: High quality links from sites that Google trusts with high PR. (Articles, Wikis, Web 2.0s)
2nd Tier: Decent links to your 1st Tier. (Bookmarks, Directories, Comments, Guestbooks, Image Comments, Trackbacks)
3rd Tier: Any sort of spammy links to strengthen your 2nd Teir links

However, I suppose it could be questioned whether "any sort of spammy links" on 3rd tier have an overall positive effect on the 2nd tier these days. I suppose they may help to get the site indexed but do they necessarily help any more than that?
