Logo Review Advice Needed

Hello everyone. We are selling electronic cigarettes. Want to build a brand name: PuffApe Means A Puffing Ape and below is logo. We wanted the logo can makes better looking. But no ideal how to improve it. Please review and advice needed.

 

Its Quite Simple Logo. I would recommend to use some text to represent it more.. Some More creatively. Create combination of cigarate and Text and Electronic..

 

it's not bad this way the logo, I would add some honey in the background and yellow colors. Or you can also add small hexagon cells inside with different color variations.

I dont see here any puffing ape.

Or maybe try to make the face and puff look more smooth? Google for examples how the apes face may look, take for example some details from what you liked more, another from other source.
And personaly i would get rid of the hexagon, or maybe put it on circle?
The face need to be more like apes. Also the logo has to be eye candy and eye cathing.

You really need just experiment some more.

Hi I like the concept. I suggest making the right part more clear just like the left side so you could distinguish quickly that its an ape. Cause the first time i saw it I had to look closer to get the image of an ape. Good job tho!
