That's not insult, that is a critic. You've said it yourself that you appreciate everything as long as it helps you to become a better designer. You have to swallow your pride and accept the critic. I would pay for critics.

About the stock art you have used. There is only a tiny option that allows using stock art - that's informing your customer that you are using a clipart from other source, so he would be aware about that.
