2014 SEO Strategy

Hope u all doing better. This is 2014 and we should know the strategies of new seo. I hope keyword research,quality backlink and content marketing is the main key in this year.

i am new to this seo thing. i have a blog for more than 1 year now and still no progress when it comes to monetization--earned $20 for 1 year. last week i decided to try seo, so i keep on reading about it. My question is what is this links pyramid model?

 

I am also interested in knowing more about link pyramids....

Google changed the search engine market in the '90s by evaluating a website's backlinks instead of just the content, like others did. Updates like Panda and Penguin show a shift in importance towards content. Will backlinks lose their importance?

 

We do not think in the same like the human being naturally wishes to spread a word about his/ her business. Suppose would you like to write a single keyword like 'Superb Dogs' on a single page repetitively. I think no, now if there is a forum where you see many people participating there, its mean it is a good place to spread a word about your business right? I think right. Now you should conclude yourself what will be good or bad to spread a word about your business.

Google or any other big search engine is following Artificial Intelligence means some thing which is based on human mind but implemented artificially. Algorithm changes by Google are based on artificial intelligence.

 

Do not flood your anchor texts with keywords.

If you can build it and control it, I guarantee that Google will know that and will look upon these as unnatural links, rather than links gained naturally because others recognize the value of your web pages.

I can see some are already in favor of link pyramid model...which probably looks like this



These may or may not work depending on how you are mixing the links up....But those who are building these can they proudly say that this won't be hit by Google manual penalty. (I'm not getting into percentage of chance of a site getting manual penalty or who else doing it.)

Well obviously links like these are from low quality sites which flows to second level & then to your money sites. Point is low quality sites may be good for you for a site for short time but not in long run. I mean until Google finds you out.

 

This pyramid is more expensive than helpful.

 

SEO is not really changed, its still about having a quality site that's of real use to visitors. The tech stuff is pretty much same as always.
Don't get some cheap service to build links, see if you can earn them naturally yourself by having great content.
