If they are not BLOGS i dont see any problem, because many business sites run on different domains in different countries with same content
No it is not ok, Never use same content two site even not in different web pages in same website. It is very harmful for your site. Also as one reply is there that with services provider page you can use same content but never use same content at any web page services, blog, article and any.
Totally agree, content is everything that you publish on the web. never copy content either from your existing site or from others. From time to time, ensure your content is unique through any tool.
Mos of the time it simply just happens whenever someone tries to be posting some irrelevant stuff on blogs and in articles they do try to copy and paste such sort of data. And if they provided that they aren't weblogs. But dual material is the opponent of SEO and especially Search engines.
Well, I would say no that's just not okay now you will ask why it I'll say here think from the Search engine perspective Google Spiders are not human beings, so they just can't identify that this two content belong to your site so the site is legitimate and you are good to go..... it doesn't works that way !!! So, I'd say it would be better if you take down the duplicate content because it is never going to effect you in the positive manner It will always get you in trouble, rest i'll leave it to you.
And why do you have TWO websites that have the same content... This is so strange, the same as, let's marry with 7 women so I would have a different one every day in a week... If you are doing a business (like an online shop), you need one... If you have a blog, then don't add the same content there... If you have a picture site for example in the entertainment niche let's say, why still have 2 websites... I just can't get it...
Not advisable anyway. Its not like using the same content for different country domains of same company. If yours is a completely different websites, better change the content
Hi Google will not be happy when they crawl your sites. You may get away with it for a while, but you will be penalised. What is the aim of it- ie: why have same stuff on 2 sites? If it is for geo split PPC campaigns, then there wont be any harm, but in that case the sites would be somewhat different to reflect the markets- eg: I run PPC in UK, Scotland has different laws than England & Wales, so I have a different site for each region- but of course the content is changed to reflect this. You are far better advised to increase the RELEVANT & USEFUL content of one site, and bin the other, or just permanently redirect ( if any juice attached) Hope this makes sense
Yes having the same content in two different sites will hurt both for blogs & websites. Not the site having original content but the site with duplicate content. To save your site from you can use rel="canonical" tag from the 2nd site to the original site (More on this in Google Webmaster Tools Help Center: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/139066?hl=en Now if you are using the sites in two different languages for two different countries then you can use rel="alternate" hreflang="x" tag (More on this in Google Webmaster Tools Help Center: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/189077?hl=en) Hope this helps
Why will you need Same same site with same Content atleast place a automatic spinner on second site to remain on safe side
