    Hello everyone!

Firstly I don't know if is this the right place for this tutorial but if anyone know a better forum or topic just tell me!

About 4 years ago I find a great tutorial in hungarian about how to install Windows 7 directly from our HDD, this method is much faster and more comfortable than the DVD or USB Drive method.

1.Download Winrar (or something same) , then unpack your Windows 7 ISO file into a folder in one of your partitions (except C: because we need to format it and install the windows ^^)

2.After you unpacked it rename the folder e.g. Windows7

3.So you got the folder named Windows7, restart your computer.

4.Press F8 a few times until this menu appears.

5.Here you choose Repair your Computer and press enter.

6.After that you will see a System Recovery menu, here choose Command Prompt.

7.Here the commands are the next:
DIR= list with what you have inside the partition or folder
    CD= enter in the folder
    D:, E:, F:, G: = enter into a partition

8.For example if you put the folder Windows7 on your D: drive then you must write:
    D: (press enter)
    CD Windows7 (enter)
Your last step is to write: SETUP.exe (enter)

9.Sometimes it takes seconds or some minutes to start the installation, be patient.

    10.Installing started, good luck!

When you are using Windows 8, you can't access the Repair menu by pressing the F8 button. Here's the way how to get it:

1.Bring the cursor to the right side of the screen, and click Settings

2.After that click Change PC Settings

3.Click General and at Advanced startup click Restart Now

4.After that your computer restarts and you will se a menu, choose Troubleshoot

    5.Click on Advanced Options

6.And you got the Command Prompt

7.After that do the same as at Windows 7 (next step 7.point)

That's it :D I hope I could help a lot of people and you're welcome!

Woah, this is a very informative post! Bookmarked it.

I think that the mods should dedicate a tutorial section when I see quality content like this.

Thank you! What I don't understand is why just a few people appreciate this tutorial... I mean this is the fastest and easiest way to install Windows and no one cares about...
