Create your own subreddit that you can post links to your site in and moderate yourself. It's easy and free visitors!

Reddit is very useful website to bring traffics to your website only if you are being careful with how you are going about it. They are getting a bit more stricter in spamming and starting to limit of how many links you can submit for like weekly, or possibly monthly. Recently I have only submitted 15 tops within' a week (I am a blogger) and when I went to submit another link the other day it says that I have submitted too many links and I waited for a couple of days and tried it again and still says I have submitted too many links "recently" and then a week later I tried it again and it still says I have submitted too many links "recently". So I learned the hard way that you must be careful with how you are going to submit your links especially in some of subredits. Only submit links in the RIGHT subs otherwise you are going to be banned. Luckily I am not banned and got the privilege to submit links again but it was weird especially that I had to wait for a week when "recently" is usually a day old or maybe two. Ever since I become very careful with how I am going about submitting links to Reddit.

I found it confusing at first, the layout is very cluttered and it can be hard to find what you want. My advice would be to start off my getting involved in the forums related to your niche. Reply to posts and get a feel for the type of content the community wants to see. Then you can write something specifically for them. Don't spam and don't post junk spun articles or you will get nowhere. Share something useful and you will get huge traffic.

Reddit's ok, if not overused. You need to communicate with other's here, and post stuff into right places

They say that the key to get traffic from reddit is to put your bookmarked link to the proper subreddit.

It's not highly useful to SEO. Recording to some people, it's not at all.

I think it is how you look at it. In some way, you are gaining links to your main post on the website. If your post on Reddit gets viral, you can gain significant traffic which will automatically boost rankings up and bring huge number of social signals. That's what matters to me.

So, I highly suggest to go on the Reddit if you think your audience is there. If not, I don't see a reason why to sign up at all.

I agree. If you can get quality traffic from Reddit, it is worth your time. :)
