    Hello Everyone!

Where do you place your images for your website? for example: When you include images in your post (maybe lot of images), do you place them in your host or some where else like imgur, demandstudios etc... ?

Where is the best place to upload them? (fastest to load etc?)

or what do you call this kind of websites? where can i see the list of the best ones?

I see no problem for you to put images in your hosting. Most of them put the image in imgur because they dont have a hosting. As simple as that. Dont think too much.

why rely on a 3rd party, what if something happens? down time, maintenance, sell up, then you have to do search and replace through your source code in your entire site, rather you than me mate, just use an 'images' folder on your own server.

Yeah, keep your images on your server so you are more independent.

You should upload it just on your server because it's save.

for better ranking and UX you should accelerate your site's loading time.
test is using Google Pagespeed insights and webpagetest.org.

I host all of my images and other static files (videos, css,JS etc..) on a professional CDN service (call CloudFiles by rackspace.com),
and if you are using Wordpress for your site you can install W3 ToTal Cache plugin which will do most of the hard work automatically including mirroring the images to the CDN.
