I did it after 3 years of writing blogs, ppc, facebook attempts, and more. I found a product then used classified ads. It took 4 weeks to see 1st sale. Now it's selling $24 - $80 daily.

Build a landing page with a top level domain, send traffic to it, and then let the cb product landing page sell for you. I tried 19 products before I got a sale.

Water 4 Gas, a clickbank product. Made my first sale on August 12 (my birthday-2008 or 2009) for $32.00. Spent $50 on adwords
The next day I spent $50 on adwords and made $250
Third day, spent $50 made $385.
Then Google pulled all water 4 gas ads and I went to $0. And I thought I was on my way to quitting my job :(

Clickbank is loaded with solid products but most affiliates have a hard time selling their first product because they rely on hope vs actual data. When I first started with Affiliate marketing I was all over the place trying to sell everything I could but I was investing more money than I was making. It wasn't until I learned how to read the Google Adwords data that things started to fall in place. Here is what I learned:
    1. Pick about 3 products you think you can sell.
    2. Create a Google Adwords Campaign for all the products and run it for about 4-5 days at $10/day = $40 - $50 bucks
    3. Pick the most successful campaign based on the numbers (this takes out all the emotion of hope out of the equation).
    4. Create a squeeze page for that product to start creating a list using an auto responder.
    5. Continue Adwords, create ezine articles, forum posting etc to drive traffic to that squeeze page. Outsource this to speed things up.
    6. Once you start getting significant traffic then create your own similar upsell product by outsourcing its creation.
    7. Depending on the product you can create a monthly membership to create residual income...use outsourcing for content,
    8. Repeat the process with a new product...
    Good luck...:)

When I started earning online I had NO idea what I was doing. I thought you could just create a few free blogs, throw some CB product banners on them and sit back counting the money rolling in. Now I look back and laugh at how green I was.

It took a whole year to make a sale because I had such screwed up placements. I had Zune ads (remember those?) on porn sites and other ad placements that didn't match the audience at all. THEN I started thinking logically and put gaming ads on game sites and had my 1st sale with a game guide the next day! Now every sale I make is relevant and I moved on from affiliate to being a vendor as well.

However, I find not everything would make complete sense to a newbie, as the match for some products is NOT the audience you would expect it to be. My best advice is do lots of research, and then do more research...there's a lot to learn to do well at it instead of just a few random sales.

All you have to do is to choose a product that has targeted buyers. Example in the music industry is never enough of new products always require a new product from the producers or Dj.I found a product that is inevitable for the music Industry is rated 10/10 on all web pages that deal with digital products for only two days after she was released in.Product called "Vol.1 Producer Essential Pro".Only two days I had over 10 sales.

Mine was a diet ebook. It still makes sales from time to time even though I don't promote it anymore.

I was just looking through the marketplace (mainly low gravity products) and I chanced upon this one product/eBook that basically promised a deeper voice. I thought it was interesting, got a copy of the eBook from the seller and decided to promote it. There really wasn't much competition in this particular niche back then.

I created a YouTube channel, uploaded videos with tips on how to get a deeper voice (http://www.youtube.com/DeeperVoice95) and linked it back to the main site: deeper-voice.com

Main site had articles related to the niche and a review of the product itself, with my aff link included of course.

I also created blogs (wordpress.com, tumblr, blogspot, etc.) where I posted articles and linked back to my main site. Slowly rose to the top for search terms like "deeper voice", "how to get a deeper voice", "get deeper voice", "how to get a deep voice", etc. and that's when sales started to come in.

I no longer own the site, but posting about it definitely brings back good memories. :)

Your sales are not necessarily driven off of days as opposed to data. If you have 5-6 leads after any amount of time that is most likely not enough data to actually make a sale. You'd want to say how many sales you make with 100+ leads (which you can get in an hour or several weeks depending on your advertising method).

I'd use a tool where you can post to Facebook groups and send your traffic to a squeeze page where you can grab their contact info so you can follow up and market to them. The chances someone will land on a page and just buy is not incredibly high (especially with 5-6 leads).

Direct linking on 7search PPC. Spent $50 and only made like $15 lol.
But now I don't buy ads much because I'm a ClickBank Vendor now and my affiliates do it all for me ;-).

Most vendors and marketers use jvpartner about 3months before the initial product launch the aim of the jv partners is to find affiliates for your product and they get a small percentage of every sale made by the affiliates they referred to you.

The key to sales is the product quality how well your squeeze page converts traffic to leads "Your Ethical Bribe" to persuade them to provide there information for your freebie then thats where your autoresponder takes over sending out emails to your potential customers although all your traffic should and must be targeted to what there interested in then you should eventually start seeing results my squeeze page converts on average 45%-50% of all targeted visitors
