EFT in India? Any idea?

Hello,
When Google Adsense will launch EFT process in India? I am sure, every publisher from India thinks the same question. It's really daunting to wait for almost a month and sometimes more than that. Can anybody tell this? Any idea?

You need to apply self hold on your account , and after that within 2-4 days your account will be upgraded to new payment system. After that you will be able to submit Payee bank details (swift code, a/c no etc)

 

Can I use Self hold option? Actually my payment is below the threshold ($100) value. So, can i make it on self hold or should I wait till $100?

ETF really helps and I wish that Amazon starts this service as people often complaint about lost checks and many don't enter into ad networks paying with checks only.

 

I think they are not doing it in April. My account is on self hold for around a week, but the only option I still get is 'Check' !!! Now I need to remove self-hold as 15 is approaching...

 

There is no EFT available in India.

 

I cannot confirm that as I was included in EFT payment system last month.

I am receiving payments via EFT (along with hundreds of other publishers).

EFT is in Beta test phase in India, and whoever want to include their account in this beta test, they need put their standard Cheque payment on hold.

I kept it on hold till May 14 and then released it for this month's payment. Still standard check is the only option for me. Its a little confusing, who's being selected and who is not. Hope, all of us eventually get selected.

@Densely How much was the deduction for your last EFT payment ? Is it dependent on the payment or fixed for all ?

 

There was nominal deduction, and varies from back to bank. For my case the deducted amount was around Rs. 650.
It probably depends on the amount of payment, for most of the users the bank fees were around Rs. 100-Rs. 150.
And lastly the conversion rates were also good (depends on the bank you using).

 

Great News! I read your thread. You're happy enough! good So, making it hold for now would solve the problem! right? So, should I do it today? However, my website is not showing good results these days. I used to earn much but my website is suffering from some issues. It's at $70 only! So, do I need to wait till it become $100 or changing the method is not related to payment?; is it applicable for account that has payment lesser than threshold value?

 

Deduction is nominal indeed! You are using EFT method since last year?

 

Google started this Beta test in February, and I was among those to experience this service ahead of most other (Except 14).
