    Hi,

First of all I wanted to let you know that there are many good paid tools that list your competitor's keywords. From my knowledge, the only free tool that does this is Alexa but the keyword data is very limited. You may also make use of the trial or limited versions of the paid tools. You will get a limited list of keywords but it would be free. Some good tools are:
    Keyword Spy
    iSpionage
    SEMrush

    Quick & Easy Keyword Research

To begin evaluating potential keywords, visit:

    adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

What you need to do is enter in a basic (core) keyword phrase that describes your market, topic or a product you are planning to promote. (example: product title, author’s name, etc)

The Adwords Google Keyword suggestion tool allows you to enter in a keyword or phrase from a possible niche that you are considering so that you can evaluate existing competition, active keywords based on popularity and overall use.

I've used the semrush trial before to do this, but you will need to enter your credit card details. They also pre-charged me too, ie, 'reserved' the funds so be wary of that.

The tool is working only if you log into your account. So I personally would recommend you several tools like:

    SEMrush
    wordtracker
bing.com/toolbox/keywords - you should have account too.

Also, if you are creating a campaign in Google AdWords, you can be sure that you won't miss the moment with adding keywords to your ads. ;)

    Hi,

Actually you want to see your competitor's keywords.

    Then just go with spyfu.com

    You will definitely like that.

    thank you.

The two I use are ispionage.com and keywordspy.com. ispionage provides more indepth information but will only let you research a few sites per day for free. Keywordspy is not quite as indepth as ispionage, but you can do unlimited site searches. You can also research particular keywords for things like average CPC and search depth.

    Hi,

I have used keywordspy (trial version), but don't see it to be anywhere close to being accurate. What are your experience with it? Best way to test its accuracy is to run a check on your domain and see what keywords tool returns.

In my experience there are a number of tools like other say - spyfu etc etc. They all have very limited free trials which give you some information although Ive had some information which is complete nonsense. Ultimately I think youll need to pay for one of them to get the best results. Failing that use an agency who have these tools?
