Short answer - Yes....mostly... This is quite a controversial question with arguments on both sides. Most people have seen a significant portion of the "link juice" is also redirected to the new domain with a 301. Most, not all. And not with immediate effect. I've also conducted similar tests and can confirm the same tendency. Now, there is a more in-depth analysis conducted by SeerInteractive.com which I find very informative. As it seems, while the redirect keeps most of the "juice" and keyword value in Google, the same is quite different in the Yahoo and Bing searches, where both values have dropped significantly and remained low for a long time. Bing claims that there is a regain after 2-3 recrawls, however it has not shown such indication. Hope that helps
