    What kind of an ad network puts ads on their site where they are trying to get people to join? Really not professional.

    Also - since I see you are using a network which uses AppNexus you should know that Download/File Sharing sites when introduced to be audited by AppNexus, may run ads for a short period but will be blacklisted by their compliance department. Anything with copyright violations or DMCA Violations openly, AppNexus will blacklist.

    What I would really like to know - is how many of those advertisers put on your site are actually DIRECTLY paying you for ad inventory?

    Never trust the newer sites. Check the PR and DA of their domains before you invest/ put your effort into it. Else you'll end up in a scam.
