php shopping cart system

Im looking at making a website for my employer. He runs a catering business and he's looking at offering a delivery system. Ideally in php and mysql.
the idea of the site would be a user signs up to the website, views available products which will be "meal deals"

when viewing a meal deal they select a sandwich option from a dropdown list, same thing for crisps, chocolate bars and drinks etc.

add to cart. and checkout with paypal. the order will go to the admin section with all details of products ordered and details of where the food is being delivered.

is there software that can create such a thing or will this need to be made from scratch?

any ideas?

Any shopping-cart software should be able to do this, more or less out-of-the-box. Have a look at Zencart, for instance, or just do a google search for "php-based shopping cart" or "wordpress-based shopping-cart" (if you wanna use wordpress (which could be a simple way of making this happen relatively fast)).
