Its good for SEO point of view. But, appropriate linking is very important. You should do it manually for better results. Don't use plugin for this.
From what I've seen over the last few weeks, internal linking is quite important. Not only does it help guide the spiders to other content, it also does the same with the visitors. Keep the linking structure simple, and make sure that every page is connected to something.
years ago i met a SEO guy who was putting links to home page in every footer and he said that will boost PR. it seems really stupid and unbeliavable but that man was making huge money with his pages. since this is right thread (internal links) i would like your opition: he had a page domain.com (i made it up) then few articles on subpages like domain.com/health.html domain.com/sport.html ... on every subpage he put 10 links to domain.com/index.html. can you imagine having 10 same links in each footer? it was just different anchor text. does this make sense to anyone?
Internal pages are very essential to run a website successfully in the modern world. No users will satisfied by seeing a single page when they land on your site. So internal links which related to the topic or category will boost them to know more about that and will decrease your website bounce rate. Rather placing internal links will also very useful for the site owners to deliver more information about them.
It's very important to have logical and relevant internal linking. Spamming your pages with dozens of internal links is not a good choice though. Think of the end user and how annoying it would be for them to see all these links on a page, distracting them from the main content of the page.
