How do you proceed without money ?

So, a lot of money were invested on an online project of mine. Not my money, investors money. Right now the project is ready to launch and i need money for both online and offline advertisement, but the investors seems to be backing off slowly.

How can i proceed and promote my project without money ? I am not dropping this, i have put a lot of effort and working hours and i am positive that it can be a huge success for me and my employees.

Social Media seems to be a way of doing it , but still without paying facebook you cant reach a lot of people.

Generally there's not much you can do for free. There's not an "easy + fast" method that will get you where you want to be. If you're dedicated to the project you'll have to put in even more hours to achieve the effects you desire manually. Contacting people and asking them to promote your project, sharing it on social media, trying to get the thing to rank on Google by using SEO, asking people to blog about your project, etc.
What I can tell you is that you should put your time into getting in touch with real people and focus on the word-of-mouth method to get your project up and running.

Can you tell us what the actual project is? Is any of your money invested in it, did you not get paid for it, or do you just not want to see all your time and efforts go to waist because the investors backed out?

 

Go to offline events and talk to people who already have the visitors/customers you are looking for. Work out some kind of JV deals with them, and in return they would do an email blast and/or blog posts for you. Think win-win!

 

Post articles and blogs about the project and provide links. If your project answers certain queries, then search relevant forums for appropriate questions and mention your project while answering (provide links wherever allowed). Build up pages & groups dedicated to the project and increase the likes and group size. It will be a slow process but it is free .

 

Most of the real recommendations are free. You should join forums, comment on blogs and see where you can submit your content. Even you have money to promote your site, you should look at direct advertisements instead of buying links because it is an endless pit. You have to keep poring money in to paid promotions. The moment you stop paying it all goes. So, Natural promotion is the best long term project. You just have to tell your investors that they should stick with it for the long run instead of expecting quick return for their money.

 

I totally agree, i am not looking for an easy and fast method. I am looking for possible solutions that i will not have to invest a lot of money on my own !

I am very dedicated on this project and so are my employees. I have started thinking about Direct Sales method although its harder, its a start.
About SEO , if i use a paid SEO software that promises to be on the first 10 in less than 30 days , is it true ? Can this happen ?
I like the idea about asking people to blog about my project. Sounds very hard to achieve that , but i will research about this.

Well i can , but i am afraid not to seem like an advertisement and be banned or something . Its an online gambling platform with Live dealer casino, Poker, Sportsbook, Lottery. I have not invested any personal money on this. Only the shareholders did. If they back off completely i will be the complete owner of the company and i really believe that the potentials are endless !!!

I'm not sure if this is entirely related to the question that you were asking, but there are some other methods that you can use to generate upfront capital.

Have you heard of Kick-Starter.com? I think that you can list your product, or service there for free; and people will come and fund your project for you.

That's a great way to do it.

I have never heard of that. How can someone fund your project without knowing anything else ?

Try to market it online first like using social networking sites and have a video of it on youtube

 

More hours are needed of you, you can no longer outsource, you are going to have to do most things yourself now.

We have already set up WebTV which is something that none of the competitors is using. To show the world we are alive. But its hard to reach audience without paid advertisement.
What forums are good for spreading the word ?

About JV markets, is it possible to register something about online casino ? For example a deposit of 20$ to be like a product and the affiliates take their percentage ? I dont see any other way to list something in JV.

 

I suggest you to concentrate on getting orders for your product or service. And Initially, you have to work hard in any business.

 

Any related forums to whatever your business, some will let you have your website in your signature. Don't Spam though.

Not sure what you niche is all about but you could always write articles and post them online with a link to your site.

If online does't work, probably you should go for offline marketing.
Since you have worked hard for your project, it means you have knowledge and experience of that industry or field. It also means you have some references, just use it and try to generate some leads.
Meet people of your industry and tell them about your project and ask for help.
