Ads that don't move when you scoll down a page

    I'm looking for some advice. Recently I've noticed a few websites have vertical ads either side of their webpage. When you scroll down the page they dont move. What are these ads called? Can they be implemented though adsense? And finally are they type of ads (that dont move) good for generating revenue?

    they are slider ads, when you move down the page they dont move, they get most of the clicks and in that sense they are good for income.
    and they are not available in adsense.

    Thanks! So if I have Adsense on my site would it be possible to also have slider ads through another source? Or would this be a 'no-no' with Google?

    you can use them with adsense, just make sure that you don't use adult ad networks.

    you don't have to create a slider ad, there are advertising networks like Qadabara Zedo etc which have slider ads, you will place them where ever you want. slider will show on right side or left side of the page in dimension of 160 x 600

    Been looking into this further and I actually dont think slider ads were what I was looking for! I dont want an ad that will slide up from the bottom on the page. I want an ad that will be in position on the side of the page when someone goes to my website. When they scroll down the page, ideally the ad will scroll with them. What are these ads?
