I have a site to target into 11 regions of (Middle East):
And If I go with folder option using gTLD:

1. mysite.com/uae/
2. mysite.com/kuwait/
3. mysite.com/oman/
4. mysite.com/qatar/
5. mysite.com/sa/
6. mysite.com/cyprus/
7. mysite.com/egypt/
8. mysite.com/jordan/
9. mysite.com/lebanon/
10. mysite.com/turkey/
11. mysite.com/bahrain/

What would I do to it's home page (http://mysite.com) then ?
Would I have to make Re-direct to the home page to anyone of the regions :

1. mysite.com/uae/
2. mysite.com/kuwait/
3. mysite.com/oman/
4. mysite.com/qatar/
5. mysite.com/sa/
6. mysite.com/cyprus/
7. mysite.com/egypt/
8. mysite.com/jordan/
9. mysite.com/lebanon/

Yes , I mean if I go with the option to create multiple folders, each folder for each country. What would I do of the site home page ?

The people accessing my home page, what version of the page they would be viewing ? According to my understanding i am confused in this. And I cannot leave my home page left behind. What should be done?

 

Why not create folders by language instead of country and leave English on root?

 

Well, The idea behind doing this is to rank my website into all middle East region. And offcourse, I will be using english in all region of middle east.

 

- the follow the follwoing steps according to my knowledge.

1. For location based tagetting you will need to work on ip targetting -eg if someone in UAE, is accessing your website, you will have to get the person ip address and show him mysite.com/uae by default, and the same for all other countries- still you will be facing a problem, if some body wants toacces your TLD, mysite.com from the same region, you must have flexibility to show him .com version instead of mysite.com/uae

2. You will need to Optimize mysite.com in All golf regions -

3. specifically for region based, you can optimize the spefic directroy eg mysite.com/uae in targeted location

However, If someone access the website out of the middle east region then we can display mysite.com version to that specific user who is accessing from out of the middle east. That would be better what do you think ?
