    But I don't think anything out there beats DP. If anything, people from those forums come here to get results.

    When I wanted to find forums I just googled it. I found several quality forums to work from. Just specify the niche and that you are looking for forums and you should be able to find several

    You can look up 1001forums.com (huge list of forums)
    You can even try big-board.com and forumfind.com
    Big-board generally has a list of famous populous Forums.

    An alternative way is to Google it.
    I'll explain you how.
    Keyword + "powered by vbulletin"
    Keyword + "powered by phpbb"

    Haha I received a job as a forum poster. But yea it's good to promote yourself on more than one forums anyway.
