Fresh YouTube Forum needs review

thanks for the feedback, the logo i will try to improve it thanks for pointing out and will add favicon.

 

Looking for more reviews favicon added plus more posts.

 

I think it's a great idea! I can imagine that a lot of people would want to be part of your community.

Have to agree with others who've said it's a bit dark. I think it would even help if you brightened the red up a bit.

Re the logo that I've seen others mention here....where is it? You have some empty space at the top, that would be a good place for it. Or is it there and I'm just blind this morning?

I had some reviews on keeping it dark some against it, bit confused really. And I do hope people do join as you mentioned but at the moment its empty !!!sadly

Question: Why don't you have the forum link in your signature here? And on any other marketing forums that you belong to?

 

I was thinking of adding that, but i thought i might get banned since I don't have 3 likes I like this forum hence I try not to get banned, but thanks I will ask moderators to see what they say.

Seems to me that marketing forums would be a great place to promote your forum, especially any that have members doing PPD (I think that's basically all of the forums). They use YT for their CPA promotions a lot.

 

Thanks Annea appreciate the nice gesture, and yes, I will be marketing soon, on Adwords and YouTube itself. In the mean time I'm trying to create more sections, so forum looks to build up and when I start advertising people should hopefully join the forum.

By the way, I do know a forum where some YT marketers hang out. If you want the name, just let me know. The people are nice and always willing to help, too.

I've only ever made 3 videos in my life, so I'm no YT pro but I think it's a great concept, nice addition.

Do you know what you'll do if someone fails to fulfill their part of the bargain? Will you have to settle any disputes? Or are YTubers a pretty honourable bunch?

 

Thank you Annea, you are one person who always reply and give opinions, it's very nice to have such dedicated member like yourself. As for your question? What will I do if someone fails their part.. I did add guidelines on that section, but since the forum is new there is no strictness yet, but once forum gets bigger I will add if someone fails their part they will get a warning and ban from the forum as its not fair to cheat someone.

I also run froums and thought I'd weigh in some suggestions.

I think for the most part, people have given you some sound advice and I'm glad to see you've acted upon most of it. The big thing that stands out as being a "Must Change" is the Bright Outer glow affect on the logo. Because the logo is already white, it blurs your vision and is actually quite unpleasent to look at as it hurts your eyes. You'd probably be better off going for a drop shadow to add some depth to the logo.
