Help me choose between these two domain names!

    The two options are:

    nutritionquestions.com
    nutritionask.com

The first one is a real phrase, and easy to remember. The second is snappier and more brandable. Which one would you be more likely to click a link to, and more likely to tell friends about who were interested in nutrition?

NutritionAsk.com You're right, the second one is more brandable. I also use this rule of them when I'm stuck between several domains: always choose the one with fewest characters :)

    nutritionask.com

Short names are simply more versatile for branding. Sites with larger names either show just the full name in text (which can be tough with any space constraints) or just a logo (which doesn’t help visitors remember the name) or an abbreviation (which can lose traffic to the abbreviation domain). With a short name, you have many more possibilities for creative branding at your disposal.

nutrition questions does not sound that good to me as the 'ask' option. Nutrition ask does sound like brand and I like it better.

IMHO nutritionquestions.com is easier to remember (you will get higher customer recall rates).

I may be wrong. Do a quick sample with people on the street.

Hope you own both of these. Else you may find your domain parked by someone else

From my point of view , I would prefer nutritionquestions.com than nutritionask.com because by seing the domain name , people can visualize & understand that the site is about nutrition related questions & answers (like problems & solutions) , nutritionask.com doesn't sound so meaningful & it might confuse the visitors on whether it is site meant to be asking questions alone to a nutritionist like that..

Besides ASK is a trademark registered domain name , so not sure whether you can couple it with other words in domain names or not , so check it up in that point as well
Also remembrance & recall value is higher for nutritionquestions.com

Anyway this is just my opinion , so please discuss with other & think twice before you choose the right one

    Hope it helps :)

I like nutritionask. I think you're OK using the ASK part - it won't infringe someone elses trademark unless you use ask on its own. You may get into trouble if you 'borrow' elements of ASK's visual identity or try to pass yourself off as part of Ask Jeeves - but I'm sure you're not planning to do that ;-)

NutritionQuestions takes too much work to say. Too many brain hiccups.

NutritionAsk rolls off the tongue a lot easier and isn't cumbersome.

I like Nutritionask for a slightly different reason. It is brandable like people said and therefore can be used for a Q&A site quite easily. And the problem with nutritionquestions is that it is almost too straightforward and seems to be a site where there are questions but perhaps not answers! In other words, the word "ask" seems to pull for a Q&A site, but the word "questions" may pull more for the possibility that there are no answers readily available. Best of luck!

I would chose the NutritionAsk.com and part of my reasoning is because there is a lot of people on the web that cant spell all that well and I have seen a bunch of people misspell question. I also agree that NutritionAsk.com is a whole lot more trendy.

    Hello.

I am gonna support the others and say that nutritionask.com is the right choice between these two. It's easier for spelling, more trendy, they said it all.
