I've made just over $10000 so far with NO promoting outside Fiverr at all, but I agree it is getting more difficult with all the competition and saturated services there now. You really have to be good at what you do.

The only thing I dislike about Fiverr is the favoritism given toward certain sellers which can be clearly seen. I've seen it from both sides and it is NOT a level playing field, so be aware of that as well.

    Good luck!

How is that possible? How do you even get people to get your gigs?

$10,316, to be exact, with ZERO outside promotion. I have NO links to any of my Fiverr gigs anywhere. Further (and I know I sound crazy for saying this), in my opinion it's incredibly stupid to actually send traffic to your gigs at all. The better idea would be to send visitors to your own sales site, instead of Fiverr.

Think about it. If you post your Fiverr link all over the net, what you're actually doing is sending free visitors to Fiverr who may or may not even buy your gig. At least a percentage will land on Fiverr through your link and, instead of buying your gig, they'll explore the site and end up buying from someone else. You've then promoted the main site for nothing.

The better way is to promote your OWN site all over the net with your services listed on it showing what you can provide and at what price. The only reason to me for listing on Fiverr is because of the buyer traffic they provide to my services. If I have to promote outside of Fiverr TO my gig to get sales, then I'd be better off just promoting my own site with my services listed, and also benefit more long term from that promoting.

It's the same reasoning behind not promoting a Clickbank link (or any affiliate product) that has leaks on the vendor page. Why send them traffic to a page where your sale could be lost? Makes no sense to me.

I totally agree with the fact that sending traffic to your Fiverr gigs / account is complete waste of time. Fiverr platform is big enough to give you enough buyers if your gig is worth. Thumbs up for great income!

I have had a lot of experience with this. You are always going to have problems getting people to your gigs on the site. The reason being is because there are so many gigs on the site and there are multiple gigs doing the exact same thing. So I suggest that if you are just starting out on Fiverr then you need to do some advertising on social media and things of that nature. You need to try and come up with something that is original and something that is not already on the site a 100 times.

Yeah, you should try promoting your gig on anywhere you can promote them. I've created an account before and the first thing I did was to make it heavily promoted.

    Hi,

To earn from fiverr.com you have to concentrate on following points:

1- Start with the lowest rate- offer services cheapest on the Fiverr.com to gain rating.
    2. rating is much important than earning initially.
    3. Made your GIG awesome and best with your competitor.
    4. Quick Reply to every query/new message that client asks.
    5. Work on the Buyer requests initially to get order.

I become Level 2 seller in just 4 months following the above rules.

Yes, I have earned using Fiverr. If you perform quality work, you will get work and customers will pay you. If you complete the tasks that you advertise you will surely get good number of tasks.

Well, I agree with you. I was able to achieve Level 2 within 4 months too. I would like to add:

    - professional GIG description

    - best price/ offer (which you simply got by analyzing competitor gigs)

What's your Fiverr rating? Make your gigs attractive, while you remain professional. You could edit them and add some few more gigs. Engage your earlier clients and deliver quality work in time. And since fiverr is getting more and more saturated, think of other ways to monetize, since you are good at SEO.

This answer/ question is related to me ? :)

I am not using Fiverr as type of earning because i can not offer my services for such a low price. :) I used to offer some before but not even a fraction of those was related to SEO. Some simple things indeed...

I wish to advise everyone who are trying to get some benefit for SEO/ traffic via Fiverr gigs to stop doing that. It is very risky to buy cheap services there, you could easily ruin your website.

Especially don't use backlink service, directories or "google organic traffic" and any other traffic provided by Fiverr gigs.

These are just few fast examples of what is not recommended. There are much more...

Fiver is more likely a place where you can get some fun by order/ offer some weird/ odd things :)
