    I currently use Stivasoft, who are usually very good. However, they have let me down badly recently.
    If anyone can recommend an alternative developer, I would be very grateful..

    Not really a discussion topic, you'll just get a million people promoting themselves. How about discussing how to evaluate developers bidding for work or something like that?

    True , instead you can discuss on finding a suitable developer & how to check his reputation etc,..
    When you ask for reference or recommendation , people naturally tend to pitch in with their own marketing ideas , rather understand how to find the right programmer as it would help you on the long run.
