    my question was mostly if 20m impressions was the same thing as 20m page views? i am kind of confused, sorry.

    I would imagine they get a bigger share in terms of the percentage paid to the publisher. I know for example, the really big pulishers like the NYT and others get a higher % than the smaller publishers like you and I.

    Well an impression counts when someone on the page loads the ad, so I guess it would be the same as a page view (with the ads on it). :)

    oh okay.. cool. so hopefully in a month or so i can reach the 20m impressions plateau.

    right now im getting about 18m impressions or so a month... any tips on how to get another 2 without spending much on marketing?

    Sorry to post on a thread that was quite old. I just found the topic interesting and did some research about "premium Adsense publisher". Apparently if your site has large number of impressions enough (not necessarily 1m/day) Google will invite you to become a premium publisher and you could negotiate the rate with them. The process could take weeks or month to establish the pay rate, and a contract will be signed.

    Makes sense if your are getting that much traffic because its a whole new ball game. You really need to have a nice site to be getting that much traffic.

    No, as far as know you should apply for it. Well, you need to meet all the crieterias. By the way here is more information: http://www.predpriemach.com/showthread.php?t=50908 - Hope, someone with such an options in the account, share their thoughts.
