    I like the 2nd. But regardless, one thing that could improve both is using a .png with a transparent background for the logo. The white box surrounding it doesn't give a professional feel.

    #2 is better than 1 because for me , the content boxes stand out more with the stark contrast of the colour of the background. The white content boxes are a bit lost on the page and the blue bordering is a bit distracting to the eye.

    As a designer i will prefer second the to first. The first design not very bad but the color of text is very poor. The second website design is really nice and the color scheme is very pretty and eye catching. The method of second is up to date.
