    I personally like the first one better.
    However, the second one does go more with the niche of the site xD

    I like the first one.... but I don't like .com in fourth line.
    May be you should remove .com from logo.

    Scurvy! Both are nice.. First one is definitely better (being considerate of "branding"). You look at the first one, you know right away what it is. The big "r" is great for a brand. This is my advice.. take the .com out and make the letter spacing a little bit tighter. Other than that, good job!

    If you could do something to the second logo to make the actual "picture" more readable, I would definitely chose the second one. I love that the image itself demonstrates what the company is about.
    However, since that is currently not the case — the first one. Majority wins! :)
