    I heard that github has a bigger community, but bitbucket has a better service, especially with the extra (free) option like private respiratory.

    So witch one do you prefer and why?

    bitbucket. simply because I tend to work on my own but want to keep the code private. If you work in a team or collaborate with a lot of other developers then you should be going with github.
