    I never really thought much about how much I used the internet or if there was a need for me to spend less time on the internet, until I started working online. Now I have realized that there definitely is such a thing as "too much" time on the internet. I think it is important to disconnect often and separate oneself from the internet; otherwise it is easy to get consumed with all that the internet has to offer and miss out on things that are happening in the "real" world around us.

    I spend 8 hours at work, and then another 5-7 hours at home. I used to be in a really good World of Warcraft guild, and would spend 18 hours a day just playing video games. I might have a little bit of a problem

    Pretty much my whole day is online. Most of the time is spent doing things that are productive, so that is time well spent. Sometimes I get sucked into the facebook abyss or kill time on youtube. I could do without that, but for some reason I just can't help myself.

    I think it all comes down to the quality of time you spend on the Internet. The Internet is my livelihood. Without it I would have to find another job. So, saying I spend 40 hours a week online really isn't that big of a deal. However, if that 40 hours was spent playing flappy bird, pinning, or *ahem* writing on forums than that should be concerning. Obviously, those things in small moderation are okay, but when I neglect life for the trivial things the internet can provide then it is a serious issue.
