No necessarily wise to distribute all your eggs because it might cause you to be distracted. Be skilled in a method before moving on to the next

 

I agree, although having your own product sounds nice. We have to play it by our strengths. Some people can't make their own product or service. Each has his own unique strengths - CPA, domain flipping, ads, etc.

I think first you need to build your credibility by using your authority site or blog. Provide solutions to your readers problems or having trouble with.
Then, promote products that you've tested already and proven that it will help your readers too.

We should always keep in mind to provide value, then money will follow.

The question is that not everyone can have their own product up there, since ders always a fear of failure. 90% of people play safe and that is why the rest 10% becomes rich!

So how many of you have actually developed your own products and been successful? Or how many are just re-purposing other information found on the interwebz lol.. Anybody can make their own product, service or whatever. It comes down to the value of your product or service. Anybody can have a great product or service but without traffic you'll have an empty property sitting all alone not working for you that doesn't pay its rent. Each domain should pay its own bills. If not, get rid of it. I'm guilty of this too. I register and hold on to too many domains. I am starting to liquidate my assets and only develop the ones that are most likely to make good money. And have prioritized my project list.

There are plenty of ways to monetize just about anything and I wouldn't say there isn't one "best" way. Your traffic acquisition should be like a stock portfolio. Make it diverse to ride the waves. If you rely on just SEO traffic you're being held at the whim of Google or any other search algorithm. If for some reason you get bumped off the next week or month kiss all of your revenue goodbye. So here are a list of things you should try that make sense depending on your business.

Just to add to my previous post.

If you can create you own product and sell it, either through DP Marketplace or WF or jvzoo or clickbank, you can get an army of affiliates helping you to sell your product. Helping you to build your list. Do you see how powerful this is? Giving you a "buyers" list of people who have already shown that they like your work and who will buy from you again and again. Your products or affiliate products you recommend.

If you just send people to an affiliate product sales page, you must constantly find new people to sell to, while helping to build a buyers list for somebody else. Waaaay hard.

Many people overlook e-mail marketing and believe it is extremely hard to build a list. This isn't the case and you can make money almost on autopilot eventually.

most of those emails mostly end up in spam box, and those that dont, I just move to the spam box, and I can not remember the last time someone sent me an email and I bought from them, even those that I may subscribe too, and I highly suspect a lot of the emails you send out, just end up in spam box anyway, they may get seen, they may not...
