puttu: thanks. It looks good. I like how the o joins with l but I'm not sure about the part where the k joins with the o. Perhaps even there you should have used a white outline.

akhilrs: thank you. It's a nice and simple design which is what I am after but sorry to say it I just happen to like other designs better.

john butto: thanks for taking my feedback into account. Looks much better now. I like the font and I can see myself using it. I like them all but I still think it's a bit too much having the line going through two or three letters. Maybe have the line go only through the o and maybe only on one side of the circle in the o? Simplicity is what is going to win this contest.

digital_irfan: thanks again. I like the middle one the best. It's very close to what I am after.

logos4all: I like the fonts you used but I have one small problem. To me and to those I showed your logos they all read them as koi not kol. Not sure how you can fix this. I like the logos and the fonts used but the i/l is a bit of a problem. I like how you tried something different for the o by using that barbell plate but I think the font already looks good and instead I would just need a smaller tweak to the o or one of the other letters. Simplicity is what is going to win this contest.

animman: I like it. Simple and stylish which is what I'm after. I still think a small tweak somewhere could be done. Perhaps a dent to one of the letters but even as it is your logo now looks good.

frikusha: thanks for entering this contest. I like it: looks simple and stylish but I feel like there is too much space between the letters. Perhaps you can bring the letters together even if one letters overlaps the other slightly.

To anyone considering entering this contest: I'm going now to get some rest and tomorrow I will choose around three finalists and then I will suggest some changes. It is then up to those finalists whether or not they want to do those final changes and see if they win. I will choose the finalists because those are the designs I like the most but in the meantime the competition is still open.

Ok talented people here's the situation. First of all thank you for all the entries. I will provide feedback on all entries and then I will choose some finalists. It is then up to the finalists to do the changes and see whether they win or just simply wait for my final decision by not doing anything. Anyone can still enter but you will have to beat the finalists entries.

The general response I had about the logos is they are missing a "lifting relationship" if this makes any sense. Because the logo is going to be for a clothing manufacturer dedicated to clothes for those who lift weights they expected the logo to be "heavier" somehow whatever that means. So think about that when you make some changes. Nevertheless, this contest will definitely have a winner because there are at least 2-3 logos that are suitable.

If anyone feels their logo is looking a bit too simple by having just three letters, perhaps you can try adding the end of a barbell/dumbbell in the lower part of the k. So say take a vertical dumbbell and place it at the bottom of the k similar to this image here. Please note this is just a suggestion for those who feel like they are a little stuck for ideas.



digital_irfan: the font looks good and I like how the k overlaps the o. Overall a good and pleasant design but I don't like the icon/effect inside the o. It makes it a little too complex. I am still considering it though.

gknugurlu: thanks for the entries. I like the first one the most though I am not sure about that line at the beginning of K. Once you remove that it may look just like three letters next to each other so you may want to do a little tweak to one of the letters to make it look like a logo but I really like this font you used.

Animman: I like the the bottom ones the best. I like that line effect you gave to the k. The only change I would have tried is putting the line on the o instead of the k. You've already done that but you placed it in such a way which makes the o look like a c in reverse and it's a bit confusing. Perhaps if you put the line on the o at a 45 degree angle. Nice work on all of them. I like the font and simplicity.


john butto: thank you but they are all too complex for this logo. I needed something simple this time. I appreciate the creativity but I need to stick with something simple this time.

frikusha: thanks for the entry. I like the font that you used. I am after something simple but I feel like somehow your design is a bit too simple, perhaps a touch plain is what I am trying to say. Maybe if you overlapped the letters a bit then maybe it would stylize it a bit but right now although I like the font I feel like it is a touch plain.

akhilrs: yours is tough to judge. I like the font and also the creativity for the o. But unfortunately this is a bit too much for this logo. I need something simpler. So if you could keep everything as it is and just think of a more subtle effect to the o that would be great. But as it is although it looks good it's too complex.

snowknight: thank you but unfortunately it's not what I am after. It's creative but it's a bit hard to make out that it says kol

subwiz: thank you for the entries but they are too modern for me. I need something more mainstream. Also the effect you gave to the o makes me think of a road sign which I think indicates no standing or some other road sign warning which indicates something prohibited.

logosforall: no other logo gives me more of a headache than yours That is because I like it, I like the font, it is clean, I like it (did I say I like it twice ? ) but I just feel like it is a little unfinished somehow. I feel like it's missing a little tweak somewhere to be a winning design. Perhaps imposing/overlapping the bottom of K on the o, or tweaking something to one of the letters? I don't know what to say. The fact is I like it but I feel like it needs a little something to make it more unique/more logoish.

FlashD: I like the top one the most because it's a little more mainstream. The "problem' with using a kettle-bell (BTW great idea) is that not all those who lift use kettle-bells. To give you an idea it's a bit like having a bicycle store and using a bmx bike in the logo even though you sell all sorts of bikes. This may make some passers by think you specialise in bmx bikes only. So this line of clothing is for all types of lifters not just those who use kettle-bells. So that is why would have been better to use a more generic symbol for the o such as a general type of a barbell plate (all lifters use these plates in one way or another). I like them all, but a more mainstream weightlifting plate needs to be used for the o.

puttu: thank you. Looks better now. The only problem is in the meantime I have received a few entries that use a font which I like a little more.

Tarcea Sergiu: I appreciate the effort. I even learned Romanian to say multumesc for your effort Unfortunately for this contest both are too modern for me and I cannot use them as I need something simpler and more mainstream. Thanks again.

guideline: I like the bottom one the best because it's a little more mainstream which is what I am after. But, but, but....I still think you could develop it a little more to give it that winning edge (a small tweak somewhere to one of the letters perhaps).

website1337: thanks for the entry. The font you used is nice but it's not bold enough for my liking for this contest. I do like the simple but stylish tweak you gave the o which gives it a logoish look which is great. But the font itself sorry but it's not bold enough for me.

Ok so these are the finalists and these are the designs you need to beat if you want to give this another try. I gave feedback above to each of the finalists and it's up to them if they want to do some changes and see if they win this contest. In no particular order the finalists are: guideline #76 bottom one, flashD #72 top one, logosforall #71, Animman #64 bottom two and gknugurlu #63 first one.
