Animman: I like the top one the best but I am not sure of the effect where the letters seem to go into some kind of semi circle at the top. The font itself (apart from that semicircle effect) looks good.

digital_irfan: I like the second one better. Nice, simple clean and stylish. Looking very good. In the first one I know it's going to sound silly but it reminds me of pacman when it's trying to swallow balls. Looks a bit like k is about to swallow the o. But the second one looks really good.

ideosmil: it's very frustrating for me to give you feedback. That is because i know you are a talented designer but somehow your designs in this contest while very creative seem to misinterpret my directions. Let me pause for a second and say I like your works and I would have hired you to do this logo for me but I did the same in the past and I failed. There is another designer here whose designs I really liked and I got him to do a logo for me but somehow he couldn't do it. I still like his works and style, except that in that case either he wasn't inspired or I didn't explain things properly. So that is why I no longer hire designers for logos and always try and run contests. The bottom one you did is too modern for me. The top one the font is fine but the o doesn't do it for me. Perhaps there needs to be a bit of an overlapping of letters or just simply make the o look like a dumbbell plate. I know illustration is one of your strengths (your mascots are great) so I can only suggest to look again at your #19 entry in this contest and see if you can use that dumbbell plate but make it face a bit more forward rather than having it twisted to the side. In my mind what's going to win this contest is a simple three letter logo with bold fonts with a small tweak done to one of the letters, or just a simple bold font where the o is a dumbbell plate made to look very simply and stylishly like an illustration or outline of a dumbbell plate. Have I confused you enough ) ?? It's only because I really like your works and I appreciate your entries in this contest.

Tarcea Sergiu: I really like your concept but not the execution of it. I think it is very original how you are trying to have something different and yet still simple and stylish at the same time. But I don't think you quite nailed it. I think it also reads a bit like iol rather than kol. I would try another variation still based on this concept where the k and o seem to join.

puttu: I like it. Not quite there yet but I like it. I think the upper arm of the k is a little long but this can be fixed I am sure if I choose your design as one of the finalists.

john butto: thank you for the new one. Looks simple and stylish and that is what I am after. The only "problem" is that while it looks good and simple it doesn't seem to be good enough to beat the competition. And just a personal thing but the "pole" in the k and l has the edges a bit too round for my liking. Also the one at #52 is a little too complex because I really want to stick with something simple (and stylish)

snowknight: thank you for posting the logo on a t-shirt. Ultimately the logo will go on t-shirts. But the logo itself is not suitable as it is a little too busy and complex for this project. I need something very simple and stylish. Perhaps if you removed the bar and keep the barbell plate as it is and simply bring the letters closer to the barbell plate then it will look a lot closer to what I am after.

mvg777: You're playing with my mind man. I like them all and yet they are not what I was thinking I would get out of this competition. Let me check with one of my associates but I must say I like them all and I really like the font you have used.

logos4all: thanks for entering this contest. Looks simple and stylish which is what I am after. But somehow it looks a little "mechanic". Sorry but I can't find the proper word to describe it. The square inside the o and the line through the k gives it a bit of a too geometrically correct appearance. Hmmm...I'm lost for words to describe it. Although I want something simple and stylish I still want a little more creativity somehow. I looked at your portfolio and that GrimeBusters logo looks super. Simple stylish and without the icon it still looks simple stylish and balanced and it also has a very nice font. That's the type of logo I want for this contest (except that is a much longer logo with more letters and perhaps that is what makes it easier to make it look more balanced and still keep everything simple)

akhilrs: thank you but it's too complex still and I need something more simple. Also the o in my opinion looks more like a target than a barbell plate in my opinion.
