    Thanks for the new entries/revisions.

mvg777 #17: Looks better but I prefer a single colour. The barbell plate which you used isn't really looking like a barbell plate to those who are unfamiliar with the sport of weight lifting. Good effort but somehow doesn't grab me

Luis Cestou: thanks for the entry. It is certainly a very unique and very creative logo. Unfortunately though the style is too modern for the market I need it for. Lifters of all ages and yours is geared mainly towards a younger audience.

ideosmill: looking better and simpler which is what I am after. But I am not convinced about the plate. It doesn't quite look like a barbell plate if you remove the handle bar. In fact I think the handle bar makes the logo a little too busy. Don't get me wrong, the design is great but it's a touch too busy for what I need.

akhilrs: thanks for the entry but it's a bit too complex for me. i am after something a lot simpler with just a little tweak/twist to either one of the letters or having the o turned into a barbell plate

puttu: very simple and stylish which is what I am after. However, I don't think it's quite there yet. Perhaps you can use a thin outline to separate the o from the l because right now it looks a little like a k and a d. The font is very nice but I don't really like how the lower arm of the k looks a little roundish/bent

Sagarika123: thank you for the new entry but it looks a little plain. I like simple designs for this logo but yours is a little too plain I'm afraid

guideline: I'd like to give you some positive feedback but unfortunately the logo is in upper case and I needed lower case. Also it's a bit too plain and you need to add a tweak/twist to one of the letters to make it look more logoish rather than having three letters next to each other.

digital_irfan: thank you for the new submissions. I can only comment on the top two because the bottom two are in upper case and in my instructions I asked for lower case. the first top one the font again looks a little cartoonish and it looks just like three letters next to each other rather than a logo. The second one looks like a logo because of the way you positioned the letters. But unfortunately I'm not feeling it because the font again looks a bit too cartoonish/roundish for my liking. Hmmm.....I am breaking my own rules but the fonts you used for the bottom logos are more to my liking

To perhaps make it easier for anyone to understand what kind of font I like, here's one logo font I really like

animman: yes it is much better. I like the font and yet I feel like something is missing. This new change you made makes it look much improved in my opinion but unfortunately it also developed another problem. Because of the line in the K, the logo now looks more like ikol rather than kol. Seriously if I had a company called ikol, I would not think twice about buying this logo.

First of all, thanks for the feedback. It's lower case and of course I customized the weight and edges, kerning etc because I wanted to give a unique typography on logos that I made. Btw, here is the original text in upper case and lower case. Just a heads up that I put effort into it rather than simply typing 3 letters.

akhilrs: thanks for the new one. I like the font but the logo is still too busy for my liking. I keep saying that a small tweak/twist to one of the letters would be good enough for me. But unfortunately yours is looking a little too busy

guideline: sorry for my feedback. I am not a designer and I just had a quick look at the L and to me it looked like an upper case one. I didn't mean to offend you with my feedback. I can now see you put some work into the design by making it different from the original font

Animman: sorry I missed your entry. It looks good, it's very close to what I am after and yet I feel like you can do something a little bit better. The font you used is fine, the design is simple and clean which is something I like but that line in the k somehow just doesn't sit well with me. I think a "little something else" done to the logo would be good enough, just a small change or tweak to make it a little more unique but I can't think of one (perhaps a little dent to the k, or to the o, something subtle such as placing a number 1 inside the o...there are many ways you can do this but I can't really think of a specific one)

snowknight: looking better. I still think you need to reduce the effect on the o as it still stands out too much. Perhaps just simply placing the bottom of the letter k on top of o so it covers the o a little. It is an ok logo heading in the right direction but something about it isn't 100% right in my view.

digital_irfan: I like the top one the best. I think that the K covers too much the o. The onle change I would make is perhaps space it out a little so that only the bottom arm of the k covers the o and only at the bottom. And also where the o joins the l i would add a little outline of gray so you can see the full shape of the o as it overlaps the l (just like you did to the logo under it where the o that overlaps the l is gray).

johnrossgd: thanks for the new one. I like the font but not the effect you gave to the o. I prefer something that even as a "flat" logo without any effects such as bevel, emboss, drop shadow etc looks good

johnrossgd: third try is looking better. thank you.

Animman: again an improvement. I like the bottom one better. In the top one the 1 is too obvious and perhaps makes the design too busy. But the bottom one definitely looks better and is much improved.

I'm gonna get some rest so if I don't reply for a while it's because we aussies need to get some sleep on a regular basis otherwise we don't perform well :)
