Contest 2 Logo Design $25.00 each

Hi all respected DP designers, we need help with 2 logos:
1. Sunshine Medical Uniforms

• What: Medical Uniforms & accessories
• Style: Clean, Modern
• Color: Blue / Red
• Website: mysunshineuniforms.com
• Note: We like the idea of our current logo but it looks dated. We would like to modernize it.

2. Sunshine Distributors Inc

• What: Motel hotel supplies, ie sheets, towels, janitorial products, uniforms
• Style: Clean, Modern
• Color: Orange / Blue / Open to suggestion
• Website: mysunshinedistributors.com
• Note: We don’t like our current logo as the sun looks more like “sunset” then “sunshine”. We are thinking more of simple lines sun with a modern font.

These 2 logos are for 2 different departments of our company. It will be great if they kind of look alike in some way but it is not required as we accept different winner for each logo.

The winner will need to provide the logo in vector format and also include all the fonts used. All questions and submission must be submitted through the thread. Please don’t PM designs or questions. Each logo winning designer will receive $25, paid through paypal.

We’ll give this contest for 1 week and will choose a winner on 2/11/2014. However, we reserve the rights to not choose a winner if we don't like any of the design. I'll do my best to give feedback to everyone so that hopefully no winner situation will not happen.

Thanks for all your entries so far. I'll be heading to a meeting soon but I'll come back in the afternoon and give feedback to every design. I just want to drop this quick note to say thanks.

 

Here are the feedback:

Jenn08: Thank you for your entry. It’s nice but we feel the design may be a little bit too simple.

Jagodesign: Thank you for your entry. We don’t care much for the medical uniform one but we like the idea that you incorporate linen and bottle with the distributors logo. Good thinking! The shade on top of the letter looks more like explodes then sunburst.

Kainraziall: For the medical uniform one, we actually prefer to keep the nurse figure and not a big fan of the font. The blue lines under the sun make the distribution logo with a beach feel. Not a direction that we keen to. Thanks for trying!

Ideosmil: Thank you for your entry. Out of the two, we like the upper one more. The gradient of the letter and the font is nice. But the sun is a bit too big.

Logoesdesign: nice entry. no changes requested at this stage.

Snowknight: It’s a cool design but the style has a strong mechanic feel. It may work well with racing or car related business but not for us. Thank you for the entry.

 

Thanks for all the designers efforts. We feel like we haven’t seen what we really like so far. So we are doing our homework and will come up with some fonts and logos we like to give you a better idea of what we are looking for.

 

Just a quick note. We like Youtube logo. The two tone text color is a good direction. Thanks to logoesdesign for another good entry!
