I need some input ..

I'm doing some marketing research for my domain name, and need you opinion. My domain name is ZAZZA.NET When you see, or hear that name what type of business would you think it would fit best?

Some game, social networking site, designer or some RJ.

 

With a name like Zazza it would have to be either porn or gambling.

As this is a not a keyword-driven domain I would say that you can use it for pretty much everything, especially building a brand name around it (for example Zappos.com, the first that sprung to mind, is a killer in online clothing, although it is not hinted by the actual domain).

Then again, if you don't have the .com (which from what I see in whois records you probably don't), maybe it would be a good idea to contact the owner of it and offer them the .net (owner of the .com's last name is Zazza and hence the value to him)

 

Actually zappos is from spanish word zapatos and it means shoes. Just fun fact.

As goes for domain name, my fist though was from Godfather 3 gangster Joey Zasa.
You can use it for pretty much anything by building brand around it.

I am thinking classified, Ad postings perhaps?

Interesting decision for a site, that is not primarily targeted to Spanish speakers. Still, its quite a modification from 'zapatos', which leads me to believe that the primary intention was to think of a cool word for a brand name, not exactly targeting a keyword

 

The first thing that came to my mind was Jazz music. If you make a site that makes Jazz music popular, you'll have made the best of the domain

 

I agree it's still far from original but it's memorable and cool.

It kind of goes in the same vein as zazzy (http://www.encyclo.co.uk/define/Zazzy) so, perhaps some flashy, stylish things site?

 

I think it's a great name, because nothing in particular comes to mind - it could be a smart directory or listing service, a web host, a search portal, a shoe store.

 

So far, I kind of like the ideas of Zazza being a website for a stylish, colorful, vivid subject (maybe something for designers, like Piccsy?) and also T-Shirts (stylish, vivid, current T-shirts) Keep ideas flowing Thanks for all the input so far
