Hi to all, I am getting a problem from the past few days. I am working on a website on which i have done on page optimization with Meta title, desctiption and keywords. But from the past few days i realize that google, bing, yahoo, all are not reflecting meta description in serp's, they all fetching description from the content present on website. Can anyone tell me why is it so..

Thanks @DiggitySEO , Thanks for your reply...bt problem i am facing with only home page...actually this website is having canonical problem for which i have used 301 redirection..one more problem it opens with both index.html and without index.html and i had also redirected index.html to original domain. Now webmaster is showing that index.html is permanently moved... do you think redirection causes that type of problem due to which meta description is not reflecting...all internal pages meta description is reflecting on serp's of all search enginers
Wish I could help with that detailed of a question, but I've never encountered it before and wouldn't feel comfortable give you a definitive answer.
I will tell you the website kotastone.com....on google serps meta description is not reflecting....have a look on the url and please help me out for that. I dont think @Akhil Swatantra that i have not set meta tags properly...It is perfeclty
